This is totally up to you. Our bins, especially when filled, do weigh a considerable amount, and in turn could damage a lawn if placed there. However, as long as there is space to unload and pick up the bin, it is your choice.

If you do not have driveway access, or are unable to have the bin in the driveway, putting a wood frame on the grass for the rails of the bin to sit on will help prevent damage to your lawn.
